2024 International Youth Day; “From Clicks To Progress”

The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) has again empowered Nigerian youths from different sectors of the economy in a four-hour live webinar to commemorate the 2024 International Youth Day.

International Youth Day, is a United Nations designated day to recognize economic and legal issues surrounding youths. It is celebrated every 12th day of August and was first celebrated in 2000.

Hacking into the theme for the 2024 IYD; “From Clicks To Progress” BBYDI gathered over 75 individuals into a four-session webinar including panel sessions, questioning and answer sessions.
The speakers for the event were drawn from works of life, including Segun Modupin, the Program Manager of YouthHubAfrica Who spoke about “Driving Economic Growth Through Youth-led Digital Enterprises”, Atinuke Lebile the founder and CEO of Cato Foods who spoke about “Transforming Agriculture: The Impact Of Digital Tools in Enhancing Food Security”, and Temitope Amujo, the founder of FinREMIT who facilitated a session on “Leveraging On Click-counts as a Veritable Tool To Enhance Economic Growth”

The event’s highlight was the panel session which offered more insights to the participants on the effective use of the click economy to drive sustainable growth, regardless of any sector.

This underscores BBYDI’s commitment to youth development especially in the digital economy, manifested in their programs and land projects like the ongoing 12 Weeks of Life Impact Training for the selected Next-Gen (Young) residents in Ifon, Osun state, Nigeria.
