Role Summary
Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative is seeking a proactive and results-driven Programme Officer (Women Economic Empowerment – Technology) to design, coordinate, and implement technology-driven initiatives that enhance women’s economic participation, digital inclusion, and access to tech-enabled livelihood opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement technology-focused women economic empowerment programmes
Coordinate field activities, partners, and community stakeholders
Facilitate digital skills and tech-enabled entrepreneurship programmes
Support the integration of emerging technologies, including basic ML/AI concepts, into programme design and delivery
Monitor, document, and report programme activities and outcomes
Support proposal development and donor reporting
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Gender Studies, ICT, or a related field
Master’s degree is an added advantage
Demonstrated experience coordinating field activities, partners, and community stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Experience implementing technology-enabled programmes is an advantage
Basic knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an added advantage
Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills
Passion for women’s economic empowerment, digital inclusion, and community development
Must be based in Ilorin, Kwara State

Recruitment Process
