BBYDI Celebrates 29 Years of Emir of Ilorin’s Leadership and His Pivotal Role in Advancing Gender-Based Violence Prevention Efforts in Kwara State

On the 29th anniversary of his enthronement, Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) congratulates the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, for his dedicated leadership and invaluable support. The Emir’s commitment to fostering cultural values and championing community welfare has positively impacted countless lives. As a respected custodian of Ilorin’s culture and traditions, the Emir has continually used his platform to promote peace, unity, and community development.

His recent endorsement of BBYDI’s campaign against gender-based violence in Kwara State has empowered our mission to mobilize traditional leaders across the state as advocates for positive change, strengthening our efforts to foster a culture of respect, safety, and justice across Kwara State.

Through the Emir’s support, BBYDI has gained heightened credibility and increased collaboration from other community leaders, amplifying our impact. We are seeing a growing commitment among local leaders to advocate for the protection of vulnerable populations and to challenge harmful norms that contribute to gender-based violence.

On this occasion, we express our profound gratitude to the Emir for his unwavering support and inspiring example of leadership. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are committed to advancing the progress of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State in partnership with the Emir and other traditional leaders. We wish His Royal Highness continued success, good health, and a prosperous reign.
