Reaching a Diverse Audience
The event, held between September 19th and 21st, 2022, attracted a diverse group
of participants. Over 60% were female, with ages ranging from 18 to 70. Importantly,
BBYDI ensure inclusivity by translating activities into the three major Nigerian
languages (Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa). This outreach strategy facilitated broad
participation from different ethnicities and backgrounds

Building Awareness and Action
BBYDI’s activities included an awareness walk, a press conference, and a People’s
Assembly. Media coverage from over ten news outlets helped amplify the message
of the SDGs across the country. The People’s Assembly, with over 85 physical
attendees and 500 online participants, provided a platform for discussions and action
plans. .

The #Act4SDGs project effectively mobilised stakeholders across sectors, including
government representatives, student groups, marginalised communities, and civil
society organisations. By focusing on Climate, Peace, and Justice, BBYDI
