TEENS SPEAKOUT 8.0 IS HERE!

Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) will host the 8th edition of its flagship annual teens event, “TeensSpeakOut”. The event, designed to give teenagers a platform to contribute to national conversations and play their part in nation-building, has been an immense success since its maiden edition.

The programme is an educational event that has helped many teenagers develop writing and oratory skills. Past participants have performed excellently in other academic engagements and proven worthy examples for those coming after them. In a recent survey conducted, former participants attributed their excellent writing and oratory skills to the rigorous learning process the competition out them through.

At BBYDI, we consider this event a social responsibility to ensure that we leave no one behind. We believe that young people have a crucial role in the growth and development of our nation, and engaging them young, will be pivotal to this goal. As a result, we continue to offer mentorship to participants to ensure that they stay on track.

We have 17 schools, including public and private, participating in this year’s edition. All schools will partake in the essay writing and oratory contest.

The winner of the 2019 edition planned this year’s event. It is an example of our resolve to train participants in speaking and writing and prepare them for leadership.

The event has been sponsored solely by the organization since its inception. We are pleased to have partners to support this year’s edition. We thank Word Flex Consult, Raybash Photography and IBBDS Consulting for supporting the event. We look forward to a sustained relationship.

We invite the general public, including the press, to join us at the event this morning, 25th of October, 2021.
